✈️ AIR NZ CHANGES ✈️

Air New Zealand today announced changes to its leadership team.

Acting chief commercial Jeremy O’Brien, pictured, has been appointed the airline’s chief customer and digital officer, a new position created following the elevation of Nikhil Ravishankar to the top job at the airline.

Ravishankar was chief digital office and O’Brien gets the new role after senior leadership positions at Air NZ for the last nine years covering sales, customer, loyalty, marketing and brand.

Meanwhile Scott Wilkinson officially starts as chief commercial officer on 07 Oct. His appointment to the role was announced at the start of the year and the loyalty business has been added to Wilkinson’s portfolio following Ravishankar’s appointment as ceo. Wilkinson was at Qantas, where he was the executive manager, digital and direct customer experience.

The executive shakeup also sees chief operating officer Alex Marren step down, in Mar. She joined NZ in 2022 and is creifted with playing a pivotal role in rebuilding operational performance post-C19, and led the business through several complex challenges. Outgoing chief ceo Greg Foran says Marren has brought ‘calm, clarity and deep operational expertise’ to the leadership team.
