If you belong to Jesus Christ, how much more will your Heavenly Father take notice of you and respond with love and care? (Matthew 7:11) He wants you to know today: “I see you.”

You are not invisible to God. Just as He saw Hagar, He sees you—right where you are. He knows your struggles, hears your prayers, and is ready to help. Trust that He’s with you and working on your behalf.

Hagar, in her distress, didn’t run from her situation. Instead, she listened to God’s voice, received His guidance, and found comfort in knowing that she was not forgotten. In that moment, she called Him “the God who sees me.”

Pope Francis passed away today. He modeled sacrificial service in a way that few popes have. While I did not agree with all of his teaching, his life of humble service and his love of the poor, immigrant, sick and downtrodden should be a model for every Christian. He spent time at an Italian prison meeting with inmates only 2 days before his death.
