Little Island Press Ltd Little Island Press is a community-focused publisher and social enterprise.

Established in 2007, we launched our business with two original works from our local New Zealand communities. Pacific Auckland and Polynesian Festival are photographic essays on Pacific Islands people and their cultural gifts to the city of Auckland. Now we are following on from the success of these books with more titles that support these communities.

Little Island lost one of its wonderful, but elderly office dogs recently. Ritchie and his sister Lily were rescued during the COVID-19 pandemic and kept us company through lockdowns. Now it’s just Lily. We do miss Ritchie though. He was the best!

Early last week renowned Māori artist Robyn Kahukiwa passed away.

Known for her artistic explorations of Māoridom, Little Island Press was fortunate enough to have worked with Kahukiwa for two books.
