The Cause team are incredibly proud to have contributed to the VFX on Apple TV's Chief of War across the epic Hōlua sledding scene, which was a unique and thought-provoking challenge for the team to design and implement.

A massive thank you goes out to the wider VFX team across the project, including VFX Supervisor Christopher Scollard, VFX producers, coordinators and editors Bill Halliday, Mark Ryan and Michael England, and the director, Brian Mendoza.

It’s with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to the lovely Mirela as she heads back home to Brazil.

Mirela joined us after finishing at Media Design School, starting as a Junior Co-ordinator (with a splash of 3D skills to lend a hand). After a brief detour to Wētā to fast-track her learning, she returned to her Cause family. With a new set of tricks under her belt, Mirela grew into a fully seasoned Producer.

Along the way she made countless friends (because quite frankly, she’s awesome!) and will be deeply missed by us all.

Safe travels to you and Bisteca! We can’t wait to squeeze in one last meal, plenty of laughs, and warm hugs before you head off. ❤️

Cause and FX helped to bring Axel and Minion to life in Twisted Metal 2 with bold, photoreal VFX that holds it’s ground under the microscope. From the early concepts to the final 4K renders, our team helped turn the lovably wild world of Twisted Metal into on-screen chaos.
