Jenée was recognised for her investigation into Adrian Orr’s departure as Governor of the Reserve Bank, delivering sharp, persistent reporting that strengthened public transparency and reflects NZME’s commitment to keeping Kiwis in the know.

For the second year running, NZME has been named Media Publisher of the Year at the IAB NZ Digital Advertising Awards! And a huge congratulations to Ester Monti - our Digital Performance Manager - Strategy, who won the Emerging Talent Award for her outstanding work supporting our cross-channel digital advertising.
These wins reflect a year of strong digital innovation across NZME including the launch of Herald NOW, text-to-speech on NZ Herald, updates to the iHeart app and new automation tools.

The latest Nielsen Readership results are out! They show that more than 1.18 million Kiwis connect with The New Zealand Herald brand every day, that’s +40,000 more readers than this time last year. The Herald on Sunday reaches 7 out of 10 Kiwis engaging with a Sunday newspaper, and 700,000 readers turn to the lifestyle content in our newspaper-inserted magazines (NIMs) each week.
We're also proud of our growing digital presence with nzh.co.nz becoming the #1 online news site in Auckland* and Herald NOW hitting 1 million monthly unique viewers.^

Last night we celebrated the inaugural BusinessDesk CEO Index Awards, driven by Range Rover, at the Park Hyatt in Auckland.
Guests were treated to an insightful leaders’ discussion featuring NZME Chair Steven Joyce and BusinessDesk co-founder Pattrick Smellie, followed by sponsor remarks from Ben Montgomery.
The evening concluded with BusinessDesk Editor Victoria Young announcing the winners across five categories: Startup winner Mario Wynands of PikPok; Listed Company winner Rod Duke of Briscoe Group; Public Sector winner Christine Stevenson of the NZ Customs Service; Private Sector winner and CEO of the Year Richard Taylor of Wētā Workshop.
