It’s another sh*tty spring day! So about time to reflect again on our amazing 5weeks in Europe .. and reminding the kids it’s why we made them journal it to read back on days like this! Even just 7 weeks on it’s so rewarding to look back and remember all the big things (landmarks, plane trips, experiences!) and little things (smells, food, sunshine on our faces!) a can bring. We’ve opened up the experience after hearing from so many how much they enjoyed the commentary .. have a peak here all written by the Fantastically Lucky & Grateful Flynn offspring! !

Have absolutely loved being a tourist in my hometown of this school holidays .. doing things we’d never done before, this town continues to innovate and create new experiences to keep people coming back. Congrats to Fleur and the team who have run 10days of fabulousness celebrating local food, drink and experiences … we devoured every dish on the degustation tour (raw fish entree the standout!!), witnessed the incredible craft and care that goes into hand making every single piece of chocolate .chocolate (& got our first ever try of their version of 😋).. a wonderful soak in the medicinal geothermal pools
and an epic e-bike mountain ride around the most visited natural wonder in NZ with the awesome bike tours. If you haven’t visited this awesome region lately - put it on your list! Great food, sites, company and environment. We loved it all!

Haven’t had this much fun on bike since I was a kid! Shout out to the amazing Johnny who patiently tolerated our entire family off road on fantastic Mountain e-bikes around the amazing - we absolutely loved it! What a brilliant operator and so luck to have this kinda activity in our own backyard!

Getting to interview the master of the couch conversations today is up there. Made all the more special because Graham Norton was an absolute gentleman; warm, genuine, engaging and ofcourse bloody funny. What a privilege to share some space with him.

This was kinda weird but kinda cool today 😍😍😍 loved seeing my old Sunrise buddy and and friends … plus the bonus of bumping into an old early morning tv nemesis .. .. go well this week Newshub whanau xx
