What Makes You Feel Good?
This project began with a song written and composed by Marshall Smith. The track was made for children, with a playful and uplifting tone. My role was to create a music video that closely matched the emotional tone of the music.
The video was produced at Digital Alchemist Ltd., where I aimed to keep the visuals light, bright, and in harmony with the song’s spirit. The main character was designed using photographs of the composer. This helped create a personal connection between the music and the animation, making the project feel more authentic.
For the early stages, I used OpenAI’s ChatGPT to help build ideas and create starting frames. From there, Kling AI became the core tool for animating the majority of the shots. Kling was able to deliver smooth and expressive movements that kept pace with the track's rhythm.

Some shots required extra care, as Kling could not always deliver the exact motion I needed. In those moments, I used other methods to refine the animation and make sure the video kept its flow.
The end result is a mix of human creativity, AI support, and careful editing. The process struck a balance between staying true to the original music and allowing AI to bring fresh movement and life to the visuals.
This project shows how AI tools like Kling can support creative work without replacing the human touch. The music gave the video its heart, while AI made it possible to build lively visuals that capture the joy of the track.
