We have been on the edge of our seats waiting for this! : House of Ashur teaser just dropped.

Department of Post is beyond proud to be in the arena providing full Location and Post services across multiple units for this worldwide iconic series.

We created a package of services that included on-set DIT, Dailies colour, Vid Split, Editorial Facilities, VFX pulls, Dolby Atmos Audio Post, Dolby Vision UHD Post.
As well as pushing the boundaries in creating an extensive private network, linking studio, post & VFX vendors securely.

Congratulations to all the cast, crew, directors & producing team who put everything into this, we can’t wait for everyone to see the stunning work that is happening within these doors in bringing back to life a series that NZ is renowned for.

The Show Me Shorts awards were presented to nine filmmakers over the weekend and a massive shout out to the team taking out the Department of Post Best New Zealand Film: Vea Mafile’o, Eldon Booth, Alex Lovell for Lea Tupu’anga (Mother Tongue). The judges hailed the film as a true reflection of the diversity and richness of our stories here in Aotearoa.

It's been an honour and privilege to fulfil VFX, theatrical picture & sound post alongside Director Michael Jonathan and the team bringing to screen the Battle of Ōrākau. This film is in an authentic narrative based on real survivor accounts and made with a cast & crew, of whom many are descendants of those who fought in the actual battle. Providing world-class tools to Aotearoa filmmakers, enabling them to tell such stories with such impact - is exactly why we're here.
