Punchy is starting to get a little chunky, and honestly, it’s the cutest thing to watch.
If you compare him to before, you can already see the difference. He’s fuller, fluffier, a little rounder, and somehow even more huggable than he already was.
And that’s not just because he’s eating well.
It’s because he’s finally growing the way he was always meant to.
There was a time when Punchy was tiny, fragile, and needed help just to survive.
Now he’s climbing more, playing more, eating properly, and slowly turning into a strong little monkey.
So yes, he’s getting a bit chunky.
But that just means one thing.
Punchy is healthy, safe, and growing exactly the way he should.

This morning Punchy discovered a brand new “skill”… and somehow decided that putting a tiny stick in his nose was a great idea.
He kept picking it up, staring at it, testing it again and again like he was fully convinced he had just unlocked something important.
Completely focused. Completely serious. Like this was his biggest mission of the day.
And the funny part is, no one taught him this, punchy just wakes up, looks around, and turns the smallest, most random things into something exciting, something worth exploring, something that keeps him busy in his own little way.
That’s what makes him so special, because while everything around him might seem normal to everyone else, to Punchy it’s all still new.
Every stick. Every sound. Every little moment.
And somehow, he manages to turn even the silliest things into something that feels like a whole adventure.

Today Punchy got a little bored… so he decided to try and eat part of the zoo.

He found this random piece of rubber, picked it up, looked at it, and immediately thought, “Yes, this is definitely food.”

Then he started chewing, pulling, testing it like he had just discovered something important, completely focused like this was a serious mission.

Punchy is still at that stage where everything is new. If he finds something, he has to touch it. If he touches it, he has to taste it.and if he tastes it… well, then it becomes a whole experience.

Because to Punchy, the world is still something he’s figuring out one tiny mistake at a time.

And today’s lesson was simple. Not everything is food.

Punchy somehow looked at a completely normal rope and decided the best possible way to sit on it was doing a full split in mid air like a tiny circus performer.
And the funniest part is how comfortable he looks doing it.
No panic. No struggle.
Just casually sitting there suspended between two sides like this is the most natural position in the world while everyone else watching is probably wondering how his legs are even bending like that.
That’s what makes Punchy so entertaining to watch.
Because every few days he somehow discovers a brand new weird little pose that no normal monkey would ever think of trying, and then fully commits to it like he invented it himself.
One second he’s sitting sweetly in the sun.
The next he’s out here becoming the official split master of the entire enclosure.

These two baby donkeys walking up to the camera like this somehow feels less like animals posing… and more like two tiny best friends trying their hardest to make everyone smile.
One of them sticking its tongue out like it’s completely messing around, while the other stands there with that soft little grin and those huge curious eyes like it already knows exactly how adorable it is.
And that’s what makes this moment instantly hit.
Because nothing about it feels forced.
It’s just pure curiosity, pure comfort, and that playful little energy baby donkeys always seem to have when they feel safe enough to walk right up to people without hesitation.
The floppy ears. The tiny fuzzy faces. The ridiculous expressions.
Everything about them somehow feels impossible not to love.
Honestly, this might actually be the kind of photo that fixes your mood without you even realizing it.

Some days Punchy isn’t climbing around causing chaos or running around the enclosure like a tiny menace… he just wants to lay there doing absolutely nothing.
And honestly, those moments somehow feel just as lovable.

The way he stretches himself out across the platform, one leg hanging off the side, fur all messy, just quietly existing in the sun like he has zero responsibilities in the world.

You can tell he’s completely comfortable too.

No tension. No alertness.

Just that calm little expression like he found the perfect spot and fully committed to staying there for the rest of the afternoon.

That’s what makes Punchy so easy to get attached to.

Because even when he’s doing absolutely nothing, his whole personality still somehow fills the entire moment.

Today Punchy tried something new, climbing up like he’s been watching and learning this whole time.

You can see the focus in the way he holds on, carefully placing each tiny hand, figuring it out step by step like it actually matters to him.

It’s not just random movement anymore. There’s intention in it.

He’s thinking, adjusting, trying again, almost like he’s copying what he sees around him and making it his own.

And that’s what makes moments like this stand out. Because this is how he grows.
Not all at once, but little by little, learning through curiosity, through trial, through those small attempts that slowly turn into something bigger.

He may still be tiny. But you can already see it. He’s becoming more confident with every move.

The intruder has now been caught, and just like that, everything at Punchy’s zoo has returned to what matters most, safety, calm, and normal life for all the animals.
After that brief moment of tension earlier, security stepped in quickly, handled the situation, and made sure there was no further risk, allowing things to settle back down without any harm done.
And now you can see it.
Punchy is back to doing what he does best, sitting there with his little leaves, relaxed, curious, completely unaware of how serious things briefly got around him.
The other monkeys are calm again too, the environment feels stable, and the zoo is back to being the safe space it’s meant to be.
It’s one of those situations that could have gone differently, but thankfully didn’t.
Because in the end, the only thing that really matters is simple.
Punchy is safe.
And everything is back to normal.

🚨 EMERGENCY An intruder actually managed to break into Punchy’s zoo earlier today, and for a moment, it raised serious concern about the safety of everything and everyone inside.
The incident happened around late morning in the Saruyama area, where the individual entered a restricted space, immediately triggering a response from staff and security.
Situations like this are taken very seriously, especially in an environment where the animals rely on stability and protection.
Thankfully, the situation was handled quickly.
The people involved were taken into custody, and the zoo carried out full safety checks right after to make sure every animal, including Punchy, was completely safe and unharmed.
Some viewing areas were temporarily closed and security measures were strengthened, but the park itself continued operating as usual once everything was under control.
It’s a strong reminder of how important these safeguards are, because even a brief intrusion can disrupt the entire environment.
But the most important part remains simple.
Punchy is safe.
And everything is back under control.
