Road Transport Logistics have added this mighty R 660 8x4 to their Beckers Transport fleet, proudly named the “Ida Valley Villain” after the rugged country it’ll be working in, deep in the Maniototo.

Beckers Transport are among the earliest adopters of Scania in New Zealand and have been a flagship customer for many decades, so it’s great to see another standout unit join their operation.

Another great project from the team at Scania New Zealand comes to life with the first delivery of a new premium coach fleet for Ritchies Transport.

This bold new Scania K500C B6x2*4 is packed with features designed to deliver a superior customer experience, greater fuel efficiency, lower emissions and a full suite of advanced safety technology.

A smart new P 460 A4x2NA has joined the GHB Napier fleet, delivered to Stuart & Viv Easton for bare steel and galv cartage across the central North Island.

Powered by a 13-litre Euro 6 engine with 460hp and CRB braking, this unit runs through a G33CM transmission with an R780 rear axle. It’s set up with factory Scania gear, a new Dommett 2-axle semi, and finished off with custom chassis covers by Scania NVP and sharp signwriting from Mammoth Signs Napier.

Parabolic leaf suspension up front, air on the rear, disc brakes with ABS/EBS and a curtain airbag round out a tidy, safe, and capable package that’s ready to get to work.

Jatinder and Amar have just rolled out their new R 620 B8x4NA, a 16-litre Euro 6 V8 pushing out 620hp through a G33CM 14-speed Opticruise AMT and 4700D retarder. Built tough for log cartage across Central Hawke’s Bay, it’s spec’d with hub reduction diffs, spring front and air rear suspension, plus full ABS/EBS and safety tech including AEB and ACC.

The setup: a Kraft shorts unit and new 5-axle multi trailer, finished in factory paint with sharp signage by Caulfield Signs Rotorua.

And the extras? Leather interior, fridge, CTI, Durabrights, EXTE winches, toolboxes, light bar and a Broshmik-style stoneguard — making this logger every bit as sharp as it is capable.

This new R 770 B6x4NZ is the latest addition to the fleet of Andrew and Simone Irvine, based out of Te Kauwhata - and it’s a serious bit of kit.

Under the hood sits Scania’s 16-litre Euro 6 V8, delivering 770 hp and 3700 Nm of torque, paired with a 14-speed Opticruise AMT and R4100D retarder. Full safety suite? You bet. ABS, EBS, and adaptive cruise control all come standard.
