✨Uniform presentation night
Our u11 Kōtiro were officially celebrated last night as they received their uniforms to represent AOTEAROA MAORI TAG FOOTBALL at the NZTFI Junior Oceania Cup 2026. The girls pulled up looking sharp in their off-field gear lovingly provided by their whānau & sponsors who have truly “Got their back.”

Massive mihi to every single sponsor who stepped up so our girls can take the field without barriers. That kind of support hits different 🙏🏾

Huge congratulations to our under 11 kōtiro Mila!
She had an incredible weekend at the Counties Manukau Athletics Championships, stepping up onto the podium not once but twice, in the 60m sprint and the high jump!

And even after a massive day on the track, she still made it to Tag training with her team as they prepare for the New Zealand Tag Football Inc. Oceania Cup held in March this year. That kind of dedication says everything about who she is.

Karawhiua, Mila! We are backing you all the way 💚

Shoutout to PTK kōtiro Kaea and their Auckland Touch team!

After competing across four tournaments from Tāmaki Makaurau to Te Tai Tokerau, they wrapped up their campaign at the Summit Series over the weekend, finishing strong in second place. Such an awesome achievement and a testament to their hard work, talent and amazing coaching staff 🔥

Big mihi as well to our whānaunga Junior and Tash at CMTA for an outstanding campaign of their own 🏆

First post of 2026 and the vibes are already electric. Our tamariki stayed active through the holiday period, keeping the mahi rolling and the momentum strong.

Leading the charge was 7 year old Itania Peapea, who dominated at the North Island Colgate Games. Representing Papakura Athletic and Harrier Club, Itania came away a double gold sprint champion and a silver in the shot put! For over 45 years, the Colgate Games have upheld a legacy as the largest and most cherished junior athletics event in Aotearoa. On January 9th - 11th, hundreds of young athletes travelled from across the motu to take part, celebrating community, competition, and the future of sport in NZ. Congratulations Itania we can't wait to see what you do next!

The year is young, the energy is high and we’re just getting warmed up.
