NEW IN RENTAL: Aputure 400x shown here beside our 600x and 600d. We measured comparative output and happily surprised to learn the output is identical. From a ballast half the size and lamp head 2/3 the size this is a great development as it offered high output in an easy to carry case. Overall the design and build quality has evolved into a more refined and robust package with an advance color engine.

NEW IN RENTAL: Aputure 400x - bi color LED featuring the new color engine offering more precise color rendering than the previous generations. Here we tested comparative output between the 400x, 600x, 600d…and they are exactly the same at daylight and tungsten settings.

It was a very special evening to welcome Mara to the studios. When she first arrived in New Zealand, Mara worked at Kingsize while she found her feet, then went on to assist the late Craig Owen. Later she open her own studio and forged a lasting career creating some of the most beautiful and engaging fashion work in New Zealand. We are very proud of her and admire her work very much.
