London City Real Wedding: Paris + Hugo by Scarlett Cook
We’re both Kiwis, but for the past few years, London has become our home away from home. We love to travel, which was the biggest draw in spending time on this side of the world. We never imagined ourselves having a big, formal wedding. Instead, we wanted something relaxed and intimate, yet still timeless. The Old Marylebone Town Hall quickly became our first choice. Its iconic architecture, grand columns, sweeping staircases, and marble interiors were exactly what we’d envisioned. And with a few of The Beatles’ weddings held there, we felt we were in good company.

“ Fashion is a huge part of who I am, so my outfits were deeply personal. I wanted my ceremony look to be a classic blank canvas that I could style in my own way. Over the past year, while planning our wedding, I also launched my own clothing brand, which became a major source of inspiration. My second look, a lace midi skirt layered with tulle and ruching at the back, was custom-made in London. It was fun, flirty, and deliberately contrasted with my more elegant ceremony skirt, reflecting the shift in mood as the night progressed. “

Danielle + Baillie a real wedding by Adriana Morais
We met on New Year’s Eve in 2017. Both of us had plans with our different friendship groups that fell through at the last minute (fate perhaps?), and somehow we both ended up at the same pub gig in a run-down pub. Baillie, fuelled by Dutch courage, approached me and my best friend, although it was quickly shut down as we had a mutual hatred for men that night (due to bestie’s recent breakup!). So, there he went, off into the night. As the evening went on, I realised I might’ve just made a mistake. He was cute! I tried to find him, but he was already gone. Luckily, the story didn’t end there. We started messaging and the rest is history. Over on TJ right now ❤️
