The secret to that effortlessly undone, salon-worthy finish? Technique.

Here are a few tips she picked up:

✨ Always use a heat-protecting spray.
✨ Start at the back and work in neat sections.
✨ Keep the tong parallel to your head.
✨ Work from roots to ends, making sure those ends are wrapped around the barrel.
✨ And most importantly: let each section cool before combing it out. This helps your curls hold their shape.
