Perverse and egregious incidents of WhatsApp contretemps are becoming more frequent and only awareness can help us all.

To secure our Whatsapp, we may follow the following steps:

1. We go to our whatsapp account

2. Then we go to Settings (on whatsapp). Click to open.

3. Go to “Privacy” and click

4. Scroll down to “Advanced” and click

5. Please click on both “Protect IP address in calls” and “Disable link previews”

Once we do this, miscreants can do nothing with our phones because our IP (Internet Protocol) addresses are protected!! Once you protect your IP in whatsapp, the chances of Whatsapp meeting intruders become minimal.

It wasn’t an iceberg that sank the RMS Titanic. The iceberg was just the last link in a tragic chain of events. It all started with the ship’s design. The hull sections were built with zinc, a material notoriously brittle when exposed to freezing temperatures. These sections were then bolted together with cheap iron rivets which began popping as soon as the ship entered icy waters.

On board, the crew was so sure of her unsinkability that they began to ignore basic safety rules such as lifeboat drills were cancelled. As the ship began to flood, the wireless operators were frantically sending out emergency signals. Except they were the wrong signals. Instead of sending SOS, they sent COD, a signal that had been out of use for some time.

By the time they realised their mistake, the Titanic was beginning her final death throes. Almost three hours after it was hit, the Titanic sank with the loss of 1,522 lives.

But what really sank her?
Was it greed? Complacency,
Human error?
