If you've been following my stories on instagram over the last few weeks, you would have noticed that I have been quite busy with 3D tutorials. You might tilt your head and wonder why a graphic designer would want to do these type of tutorials?
I've always been interested in animation and had a dream to work for Pixar once. This dream evolved in time and I turned to graphic design but never stopped loving animation. I was trained in animation during my studies and to my surprise, I navigated the 3D environment very naturally. 3D has always given me an edge in my career as a graphic designer. I am able to render pack shots for packaging designs, create mock-ups for clients and create a logo animation. The world of 3D animation opens up so many doors and not sticking to only graphic design, keeps things interesting and gives you that all important edge I believe a graphic designer needs in the industry.
