🌈✨ As Pride Month lights up Christchurch, I’m filled with a mix of fury and determination. It’s heartbreaking to witness how some still treat our rainbow communities as anything less than human. The blatant disrespect and ignorance are absolutely unacceptable!
I won’t force you to celebrate, but I demand that you show basic human decency. Every person—regardless of their identity or who they love—deserves to live openly and authentically, free from fear and prejudice. How dare we deny anyone that right?
These vibrant individuals have emotions, dreams, and unique contributions that enrich our world. Yet, they face hostility and hatred every day. Enough is enough! As an ally, I refuse to stand by in silence. We must rise up against this hate and create a world where everyone is treated with the dignity and respect they deserve.
Let’s amplify our voices for love, acceptance, and equality! Happy Pride Month, Christchurch! 🌈❤️
