Dear Art Lovers of Aotearoa New Zealand,

We expected to still be making content that was kindly asking for donations.

$50k at this time of year felt like a huge ask, despite the cause: to allow the Little Andromeda Theatre in Christchurch, Aotearoa New Zealand to operate in 2026.

Yet here we are only 8 DAYS after they first reached out for help, writing to thank everyone for getting them over the line before the New Year. Just WOW!

✨🙏💛✨

Now the Little Andromeda Theatre can operate in 2026, and those 20 shows can get real excited because now they WILL GO ON!!

If you thought you'd have longer and still want to give, those lines are always open.

At any time, you can visit 👉 littleandromeda.co.nz/sponsorship and give directly to Michael and his team.

This will always be welcome and appreciated.

And if you can't give financially, you have options too.

Next time you get the chance to ask for something, consider asking a fellow kind soul to make a contribution on your behalf.

Because until the other issues that cause this situation can be improved, Little A will always need a little help from their friends.

Thanks again for all your support on this whirlwind funding campaign journey, every little bit of kindness and effort meant so much.

✨🙏 Thanks for Saving Little A!!💛✨

Warmest regards,

ALBUM REVIEW: VÏKÆ – DOOMSDAY COLLECTIVE, Chapter 1. Since March, we've watched VÏKÆ flip from colour to classic black and white, with a new sound showcasing alt pop at its best.

Ukrainian born and Aotearoa raised, VÏKÆ often draws from both languages to reinforce her authenticity.

'Swipe Right' affirms with the lyric “Future got me in the limelight” and a Ukrainian breakdown channels primal vibes and driven beats you can’t ignore.

'Pandora’s Box' is dark and mysterious, firmly cemented in VÏKÆ’s pop roots with a proper industrial breakdown.

'Death Eater' lends glossy vocals to a poetic lyric that stuck with us, "she’s trouble, I’m double and I’ll defeat her". Bet you she will!

'Bad Lovers' hits. Got one in your past? This is your anthem… “Cause I’m missing him and wishing it was you…”. Reliably relatable.

'ТЫ МОЙ ОКЕАН' (You’re My Ocean) delivers an empowering battle cry. Resonant melodies meet a rhythm so driven you’ll fully embrace the Ukrainian chorus and sing along as if this language was yours.

VÏKÆ kept 'Rust' a secret until now and you’ll have to wonder why because it has all the hallmarks of a classic.

'Flick a Switch' goes BOOM. The end thrills with VÏKÆ taking her outro vocals up a notch, inspiring listeners to belt out the end right along with her.

VÏKÆ declared 'Stuck Inside' as the most unhinged track of her career. With deep lyrics and some you wouldn't expect, the chorus brings a fun vibe to sing to.

'Hyde&Seek' explores interesting chord progressions outside her typical harmonic arsenal. A refreshing nod to her classical training.

'Eat the Rich' sees VÏKÆ round up the troops to lead a dark revolution where the justice served “tastes like revenge”.

'Operator' closes chapter 1 with a dark chorus that lands. Festival bookers without VÏKÆ on your lineups, best do a double take. This will be on repeat for us all summer.

Co-writer/producer, Abigail Knudson (MISSY), keeps her stamp subtle, lifting the essence of VÏKÆ's signature style. The mark of an epic producer.

Chapter 2 is yours 5 Dec 2025.

What Is A Man? Huge question. Critical album.

The theatre, vulnerability, harmonic depth, goliath vocal delivery, refined instrumental performances, and insane production make this album a must listen and clear contender for album of the year.

The extensive exploration of Henry Ashby's impressive vocal range, dynamic flexibility, and depth of timbre, are delivered full scale, often appearing completely within individual tracks including its opener, 'What Is A Man'.

The live and recorded versions of each track stand on their own and deliver in spades. They're complementary, not in competition.

This album is clearly a curated and intentional journey. It lives it's 9 song, 38 minute life, as if it were it's last.

The lyrics deserve to be an independently published collection of poetry. Read them now on SKRAM's Bandcamp (where you can also get a CD!).

You can find SKRAM superfans by asking them to spell purple... I mean, 'PURRPLE'. The song is much deeper and worth your time.

'Heroes' is your anthem for hope and our favourite source of comfort since our first SKRAM experience.

'Sleep Thief' thoughtfully weaves wisdom and nostalgia into expressions of relatable experiences, and 'Rainbows in the Fire' embraces community within a harmonic dreamscape - "we don't have to be alone anymore..."

'Edge of Desire' flips the vibe script of this album. As if Sleep Token, Metallica, Sting, Tool, Muse, and SKRAM were locked in a room together with the NZSO and couldn't emerge until this audible delight was completed. This genre detour is a tailored suit that fits them like a glove. We hope they adopt it for future releases.

'If We Die' celebrates the SKRAM we adore with David Bowie's Ziggy-era pianist, Mike Garson, heavily influencing the avant-garde outro.

'Tears in Slow Motion'. Exquisite. Prince has entered the building.

'Voice Memo'. An anthem to sing in a crowd to experience the joy of connection. Truly something special.

SKRAM - we appreciate all your selfless efforts to bring this masterpiece to the world. Thank you for creating.

'What Is A Man' is out now, physical CD pre-order and digital download on Bandcamp, and on all major streaming platforms.

📀CDs are BACK! And this is one of the coolest discs on the block. BUT THERE’S A CATCH.👀

If you want one, you gotta get it right now as a Bandcamp pre-order, OR ELSE no one will get one at all! 😭

This is because SKRAM don’t have stock and can’t produce the CDs until they reach their MOQ. That’s posh talk for ‘Minimum Order Quantity’, which basically means ‘no bueno’ on shipping until you ALL put in your orders.

This situation SUCKS – AND you can help!😎

👉Go to SKRAM’s Bandcamp - https://skramnz.bandcamp.com/album/what-is-a-man
👉Scroll down until you see: What Is A Man Physical CD
👉Then click: PRE-ORDER COMPACT DISC

✨You can even send it as a GIFT!🎁
(Spoiler Alert: You know Christmas? It’s coming… This is perfect!)

When you pre-order, you’ll get 4 tracks to party now AND you’ll get the rest of the digital album on November 7. 🥳

Then once the CDs ship, you’ll get to gush over the most thoughtful and beautiful CD booklet you’ve ever had the pleasure to own. 🥹💜

✨Hand on heart it will be a miniature work of art.
✨You’ll probably want to get it framed.
✨You’ll definitely want to keep it safe and take it to their next show so you can get it signed.

TLDR: If you’ve been stressing over Christmas and want to impress everyone with how organised you are, head to Skram’s Bandcamp page right now and pre-order their latest CD to guarantee you can enjoy the rest of the year knowing you’ve done a magical act of kindness.

✨BONUS REWARD✨
(for those who have read this far - thank you!)
When you pre-order, take a screenshot, share it in your story and tag SKRAM and 07:17 Records and we’ll personally make sure you have 2 free tickets to Skram’s next live show so you can get your CD signed in person. If Skram aren’t planning a show near you, we’ll plan it with them to make sure it happens!
