Join us for an engaging workshop on mastering timecode with . This workshop is designed to make your shoots and editing smoother than ever. We’ll cover the essentials: what timecode is, why it’s important, when to use it, and when not to. You’ll also get a practical walkthrough on syncing cameras and audio gear, plus how to display timecode on your camera via HDMI.

With a live sync demo of the Tadpole band set from Smoke Show ChCh 2024, you’ll see it in action!

We’ll also do a live sync exercise during the workshop (time permitting).

Kahurangi Toi Ātea - the inaugural National Screen Industry Training Programme has launched!
This Programme is open to people from all walks of life, providing an opportunity to be part of the screen industry as a crew member.

Kahurangi Toi Ātea will upskill and empower crew, benefitting local economy and screen productions will skilled crew across the moto. Developed by Screen Industry professionals, the programme incorporates classroom & workplace learning for below-the-line crew through short courses. The courses range from entry level to senior level across Art, Logistics, Post, Production and Technical departments.

The 2024 Programme has 13 courses available, with an opportunity for selected workplace trainees to work on set Christchurch-based feature film production HOLY DAYS.
