Kia Ora whanau. This week we have seen a dramatic end to the Anti-Mandate Convoy protests in Ngati Poneke, Wellington. There has been a lot of shocking images and video footage arising from the protests, but one notable would be fires lit by protesters on the lawns of Parliament in which I thought I would never ever see in my lifetime. Such heart break, such anger would be my personal feelings.
But I am going to say, how absolutely proud I am of our men and women of the New Zealand Police Force, equally so was the motivation and dedication of our men and women of the New Zealand Fire and Emergency team and our New Zealand Ambulance Service.
They all performed with the utmost respect and with professionalism that only comes from experience, training and getting down to business of protecting New Zealand
