I'm a motorsport photographer based in Auckland but frequently travel around the country covering various events. I love all sorts of motorsport whether that be motorcycle racing, rally, GT/endurance racing, drifting... you name it.

AMCC Round 1 this weekend kicked off the race season:

The bulk of my two wheeled riding for the last 6 months has been on an E-scooter (man I'm cool), so I felt very prepared for superbike racing coming into round 1 of Auckland Motorcycle Club....

It was a bit of a tricky track from start to finish with a lot of oil down from another class at the beginning of the day, but other than that it was an awesome first outing of the season with the Blue Wing Honda road race team. This year the team effort is huge and it's super exciting to be a part of.

I'm also very happy to officially kick off a great partnership with LS2 Helmets AUS + NZ. The LS2 FIM spec race helmet is simply awesome, especially the huge visor size/view port. Can't wait to rack up more kms in it.

Massive thanks also to Dylan for getting stuck in on the tools.

Results for the round:
Race 1 - P2
Race 2 - DNF
Race 3 - P1
Race 4 - P2
Overall a win for the round so can't complain with that!

Bring on round 2 in October.
