Our Acute Care walk-in clinic is now open at Dannevirke Community Hospital! Here’s what you need to know 👇
👥 WHO CAN VISIT?
Everyone! The clinic is open to both enrolled and casual patients.
🕙 WHEN IS IT OPEN?
Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
WHAT IS IT?
Acute Care is a walk-in clinic for same-day help with concerns that can’t wait for a routine appointment, such as:
✅ Sprains, strains, and minor injuries
✅ Ear pain and infections
✅ Coughs, colds, and sore throats
✅ Urinary or stomach discomfort
✅ Minor cuts, burns, or wounds
✅ Rashes or skin infections
✅ Fevers or flu-like symptoms
🩺 WHO WILL PROVIDE CARE?
The clinic is led by Nurse Practitioner Amanda Hume, who brings more than 20 years of experience in emergency and urgent care. She is supported by a skilled team of nurses and clinicians who can provide a wide range of treatments and refer for follow-up, X-rays, or other investigations where needed.
