MEET MAXINE JONES – THE HEART BEHIND HIRE A DAUGHTER

For those who are new here, I thought it was time to reintroduce myself!

I’m Maxine Jones, owner and operator of Hire A Daughter, a business that has been very close to my heart since I started it in October 2018.

The story behind Hire A Daughter began with my own family. After supporting my dad through his cancer journey and helping him get to medical appointments, I came to understand just how important it is to have someone you can rely on when life gets challenging.

After Dad passed away, I began driving clients to their cancer treatments through the Cancer Society. Many asked if they could specifically request me to take them, and that’s when I realised something special. People needed more than just a ride, they needed someone they could trust, someone who genuinely cared, and someone who made them feel comfortable and supported.

And so, Hire A Daughter was born.

Now, eight years on, I feel incredibly grateful for the amazing clients, families and team who have become part of this journey. What started as a simple idea has grown into something so meaningful, built on compassion, trust and genuine connection.

For me, Hire A Daughter has always been about the little things that make a big difference, being there when you need a helping hand, offering a friendly face, and giving families peace of mind knowing their loved ones are in caring hands.

What actually happens during a routine inspection?
