Just trying to do the math - pretty sure our last InsurtechNZ event, a week ago, brings us to 30 months covering this fantastic organisation (at least 20 events all up).

Check out what they do here - https://insurtechnz.org.nz/ We have had the pleasure of soaking up all of that energy and information, capturing their presentations and interviewing dozens of the industry's pacesetters.

I can't say I'm an expert around insurance just yet, but I definitely now have much more respect for the industry and where it's heading. (oh, and for anybody considering coming along, they put on a great spread afterwards too 🙂)

Working with good people, in every sense of the word. The last two locations now wrapped for our latest project with Auckland Council and EcoMatters Environment Trust. Looking forward to the edit. 🛠⚡️

Every 6 months or so we together with a collection of other organisations (including Gecko Trust and The Open Fort), and put together a 3 day programme in which a whole bunch of students get out into nature, learn about how it works and then discover from us how to use video to communicate what they have learnt.

The project is called Curious Tamariki, and by the end of it all the class has at least 12 stand-alone videos to showcase. .....plus one more, namely some kind of additional creation that I have been convinced, in the last couple of years, to pull together so as the students have something 'professional' they can work on together as well. The trick is coming up with an idea that we can bust out in an hour or so, but that everyone can be a part of. Here's what we came up with during our last course 4 weeks ago...
