Sure. Last rehearsals today with opening night next Wednesday. Challenging but fun. 🙂

Our annual trip to our "Art on the Park" exhibition has netted this cool painting from our local art group 'Art4Me'. It's Colin James Willis's groovy "Spotty Stingrays'. A steal at 30 bucks.

Tomorrow we'll get it up and hanging in the main mix room along with our other Art4Me treasures.

No doubt it will end up as album artwork along with all the others we've bought these last few years.

Hurrah, the first release for 2026 on Weka Records is the Runanga Blues Band's inaugural album 'Home Again' recorded, mixed, mastered and manufactured right here at South Street Studio.

12 months in the making we are really proud of it.

As they oft say over in Aus.... "Go you good things."

A big thanks to our neighbour Rob for the donation of this uber cool G H & S banjolele made in Birmingham UK, probably in the late 40's / early 50's. It plays & sounds great. The George Formby album we already had. 🙂

'Barkley' the studio doggo - who's real name is River. Until he hears something he doesn't like that is. So far the Runanga Blues Band's masters seem to have passed. 🙂
