🚜 High Court orders tractor returned in bitter Waikato family business row

A decades-long father–son business partnership has collapsed into a courtroom battle.

Malcolm Clark and his son Lance Clark, who founded Clark & Son 26 years ago, are now embroiled in a High Court dispute over an allegedly stolen tractor.

The court has ordered its return — but tensions remain high as personal and business ties unravel.

🏇 Battle for 3YO filly supremacy heats up at Ellerslie

All eyes are on today’s $150,000 Sunline Vase at Ellerslie, shaping up as a thrilling showdown between two of the most exciting fillies of the spring:

✨ Lollapalooza – explosive Gold Trail Stakes winner, storming from last to first in a dazzling finish. ✨ Tajana – already proven at Group 1 level, returning with a black type win in the Cambridge Stud Northland Breeders Stakes.

Both step up to 1400m, a distance that looks tailor-made. But Tajana’s co-trainer, Shaune Ritchie, is urging caution — warning the race may not be as clear-cut as many expect.

Who will stamp their authority on the road to the NZ 1000 Guineas?

“You have been stealing for nearly 25 years. Sentences in the past have done nothing to deter you or rehabilitate you.”

➡️ Offending spanned Auckland to Cambridge
➡️ $25,000 worth of goods stolen
➡️ Jailed on 40 dishonesty-related charges
