One year ago, when I first arrived in New Zealand, I found myself starting from scratch, stepping into a new country with nothing but hope and determination. I entered NZ on a visit visa, staying at my auntie's house while trying to figure out how to build a new life here. My aunt and her family were incredibly generous and supportive, allowing me to stay with them while I looked for a job. Their kindness and encouragement gave me the strength to keep going despite the uncertainties I faced.
When I first arrived, I had no idea if I would be able to find a job or if anyone would even give me a chance. The reality of being in NZ on a visit visa was tough—there were no guarantees, and time was limited. Every day, I worried about what would happen if my visa expired before I found a job. It felt like I was gambling with my future.
But no matter how uncertain things were, I refused to give up. I held on to my faith, stayed focused on my goal, and kept pushing forward. I told myself that every small step I took was one step closer to the life I dreamed of. It wasn’t easy—there were days of rejection and moments of doubt—but I reminded myself why I came here in the first place: to create a better future.
After four months of relentless searching, my hard work finally paid off. I got hired at a dairy farm—a big milestone for me. I reached out to an agency here in NZ, and they helped me find an employer and process my visit visa into a work visa. That moment changed everything.

To those who might be going through the same experience, I want to tell you this: Never give up. The road might be full of challenges, and you’ll have moments when you’ll feel lost, but remember that every setback is preparing you for a comeback. Keep moving forward, no matter how slow it feels. Stay positive, trust the process, and believe in yourself. What’s meant for you will always find its way, as long as you don’t stop chasing it. Your breakthrough will come at the right time—just keep going.

AGRICULTURE LANG!💚👨‍🌾

Experience ko ng College palang ako.

After mo ng college anong trabaho mo?
magtanim tanim lang sa bukid?

Madalas nakakarinig ako na "but sa sobrang maraming kurso Agri pa ang kinuha mo, pwede ka namang mag criminology dahil matangkad ka".
"Ang hirap maghanap ng trabaho Agri pa ang kinuha mo".
"Hindi indemand ang Agri".
"Pinapahirapan mo lang ang buhay mo sa agri wala ka namang mapapala jan".

Ang masakit la dun,everytime na malaman nila na agriculture ang kursong kinuha ko sobrang bumaba ang tingin nila sakin at minsan pinagtatawan pa ako.

Minsan napapa tanong nalang ako sa sarili ko na "MALI BA'TONG PINILI KO?"
"TAMA BANG SUNDIN KO SILA?"
"WHAT IF TAMA SILA MAHIHIRAPAN LANG AKO IN THE FUTURE DAHIl AGRI ANG KINUHA KONG KURSO".

Kaya ko pinili yung AGRI kse yun yung gusto ng puso ko, pero sa mga sinasabi ng mga taong nasa paligid ko, parang nawalan ako ng gana.😔

minamaliit nila ang pagiging future agriculture ko.
naiiyak na ako sa kakaisip kung tama ba itong desisyon ko.
NEVER ko pang naranasan ma compliment na HUY ANG GANDA NG COURSE MO AGRI. NEVER. puro lahat negative sinasabi.
pero hindi ko pinansin lahat ng panghuhusga sa kursong napili ko.
tinuloy ko parin hangang tinapos ko yung kursong Agriculture at eto yung dahilan kung bakit ako nakapag Intern ng agriculture sa Israel,naginh trainee ng Agriculture saUnited States at ngayon nagtratrabaho dito sa New Zealand bilang isang Dairy farm assistant.🇮🇱🇺🇸🇳🇿
