Air Liquide reached a major milestone today with the official launch
of its new industrial gases depot at Hamilton’s Ruakura Superhub.
Speaking at today’s karakia to mark the depot’s opening, Tainui Group Holdings (TGH) Chair, Hinerangi Raumati-Tu’ua, welcomed Air Liquide to the growing Superhub precinct. "Today Air Liquide becomes part of the legacy we are building for the ninety-five thousand members of our iwi and the generations yet to come", says Hinerangi.
Developed by Tainui Group Holdings and built by Foster Construction with support from several tribal owned businesses, this facility is a great addition to the growing precinct.
The site will be jointly owned by Tainui Group Holdings and global investment company Brookfield Asset Management through the joint venture established in April this year, and will be leased long-term to Air Liquide, with the whenua remaining under the ownership of Waikato-Tainui.
