Tainui Group Holdings (TGH) has appointed experienced business leader Craig West (Ngaati Apakura) as its next Chief Executive Officer.

TGH Board chair, Hinerangi Raumati-Tuúa is delighted to welcome Mr West to the TGH whaanau.

“Craig is ideally placed to lead the next chapter of growth for the commercial wealth of Waikato-Tainui and help deliver iwi aspirations set out in Whakatupuranga 2050,” says Raumati-Tuúa.

They went down by two goals earlier in the week after a Magic comeback in the final quarter. GK Erena Mikaere says she’s excited to be playing in front of a home crowd in Hamilton, which could make all the difference.
