After travelling around Bali with our family of five, we’ve put together all our recommendations for each of the regions we visited. We’re stoked with how it’s turned out 🫶🏽

We loooooved Uluwatu, definitely our favourite place in Bali! There are so many other areas that are great for families but we just loved the energy and vibe of this place the best 🥰

Here’s our thoughts on Ubud🧘🏽‍♀️🧘🏾‍♂️

There are so many mixed reviews on Ubud, some love it and some think it’s boring 🤔 But after staying in Ubud we realise it honestly does depend on your vibe. We would say it’s the least kid-friendly of all the regions we went too but if you have time, it’s still worth the visit. Tbh it may have been one of my favourite places if we didn’t have the kids with us with us 😅

We didn’t visit the monkey forest which is one of the most popular spots to go to in Ubud, no real reason we just felt like our youngest would be too scared.

We went to where we made our own rings that we can now have as keepsakes forever - this was our favourite experience out of our whole time in Bali. Highly recommended, it’s a bit of a drive but 💯 worth it 💫

We also visited which was a fun day out, we fed animals, swum at their water park, had lunch, played on their playground and rode on their safari bus. A really fun day out!

We visited which was such a beautiful experience, washing and swimming with elephants. These elephants are rescued so I’d recommend this park over any other places in Bali.

Overall we liked Ubud but it wouldn’t be the top of our list if you’re going with kids.

“Should we stay in Canguu?” We know so many can’t make their minds up about this place.

We loved Canguu!! 😍

Canggu was easily the busiest place we stayed while travelling around Bali, but for some reason, the busyness didn’t really bother us.

There’s so much happening, but it still felt fun and easy as a family. If you love eating out, Canggu is the spot - there are so many cafes and restaurants with playgrounds, and Bali really does seem to have families in mind. You can actually sit, eat, and enjoy yourself while the kids play (such a win).

There are also lots of beach clubs where you can settle in for the afternoon and watch the sunset. Just because you have kids doesn’t mean you can’t still enjoy that side of Bali. We spent a day at (the world’s largest beach club) which has a kids pool area but there are plenty of others to try while you’re there too.

We also did a day trip to . It’s technically in Kuta, but if you’re staying in Canggu and not planning to base yourself in Kuta, it’s an easy trip and absolutely worth it.

Canggu was busy, but it never felt overwhelming - and there was always something to do. We’d definitely go back.

Nusa Lembongan…we’re already planning our way back 😍

Just a short boat ride from Bali, but it feels like a completely different pace of life. Quiet beaches, warm water and that slow island rhythm you don’t realise you need until you’re in it.

We stayed at in family-sized villas with ocean views - you can choose from two or three bedrooms which makes it so easy with kids. Space to spread out, steps from the beach, and the kind of setup that works perfectly for families.

If Bali is on your list and you’re choosing where to stay with kids, head over to Nusa Lembongan and stay at

Add this to your Bali Holiday plans, this was one of our favourite days in Bali 😍

We spent the day on the pontoon out at sea with . We got picked up from our resort and taken to where we were welcomed by cold drinks and taken down to Mushroom Bay, a popular and stunning spot for families!

We then jumped on a boat transfer that took us out to the pontoon, this is where the action all started 🤭 We all got chucked up in the air and did parasailing! We went on a banana boat, snorkelled, checked out the underwater aquarium and couldn’t stop going down the epic water slide (that went straight into the ocean 👀😍).

We had a beautiful lunch buffet back at and finished our day swimming in their resort pool.

Thank you to for organising this all for us, we had so much fun!!

This is a must-do with your family this Christmas, we loved it here! 😍 You’ll find a Christmas train, Santa, Christmas lights and decorations and a night market.

📍Glenbrook Railway Station

We made sure to arrive in time to get on the train so we could watch the sunset at the same time, it was perfect!
