🌕✨ CELEBRATING CULTURE, ART & COMMUNITY — WAIKATO CHINESE MOON FESTIVAL 2026 ✨🌕

It was a privilege for Kōrero With Vaishali to be part of the Harcourts Hamilton Waikato Chinese Moon Festival Celebration Show at the beautiful BNZ Theatre, Hamilton. 💙

A wonderful evening celebrating Chinese culture, music, art and tradition, marking a special 20th anniversary, co-hosted by the Waikato Chinese Culture and Art Centre and Huaxia Multiculture & Arts Exchange Centre, and beautifully organised by Yi Li, Xi Zhu and the Waikato Weekly Chinese Newspaper.

🎭 One of the highlights was the phenomenal Bian Lian — Sichuan face-changing art by Jason Wu. And having an English version of what was being said throughout the evening was such a thoughtful touch — making the stories, performances and cultural experience even more accessible to everyone. 🌏❤️

💙 A VERY SPECIAL THANK YOU — SDNPhotos

I wasn’t feeling well and couldn’t stay for the entire event, but SDNPhotos stayed behind and covered the whole evening, capturing the performances, people and special moments.📸💙
