Sister Anzac by Geoff Allen - The Production is playing at the Hawera memorial Theatre. 23 - 26 April 2025.
It tells the story of a matron with three nurses experiencing war for the first time. They travel from Gallipoli to France on board a hospital ship funded by the small towns of New Zealand. The nurses try to save as many men as they can, while Matron does her very best to bring all of her girls home.
