Congratulations to Valentin Paret-Peintre and the Soudal Quick-Step team on a truly unforgettable victory atop Mont Ventoux!
It’s been 23 years since a French rider last claimed victory on this legendary climb, a place where cycling heroes are made and dreams are tested. Not since Richard Virenque in 2002 has a Frenchman stood atop the Ventoux as the victor.
Today, Valentin ended that wait with courage, class, and an incredible performance. A win not just for himself, but for French cycling and all who know what this mountain means.
Bravo, Valentin. You’ve written your name into cycling history.

This one’s for the rising stars — the best young rider under 26, based on the same general classification as the yellow jersey. It’s all about future legends proving they’ve got what it takes to compete at the top! 🔥🌟

💡 FACT: In the 2024 Tour de France, Remco Evenepoel wore the White Jersey at just 22 years old — even while leading the race overall! Because he was eligible for both, he wore white while topping the standings. 👏

Next in our Tour de France jersey series is the eye-catching Polka Dot Jersey (Maillot à Pois Rouges)! 🔴⚪

This jersey crowns the "King of the Mountains" — the rider who dominates the climbs and earns the most points at the summits. 🏔️✨
Climbs are ranked by difficulty (Category 4 = easiest, Category 1 = hardest), and the first riders over each peak score points. The tougher the climb, the more points at stake! 💪⛰️

💡 FACT: While it was officially introduced in 1975, the Mountains Classification has existed since 1933, giving climbers a prestigious prize of their own!
