Ever wanted to be a part of a broadcast operation with hands on experience?
Love the challenge of a fast paced exciting industry?

The Pits TV are looking for 3-4 people in the lower South Island preferably in either Invercargill or Dunedin that can spare the odd weekend for various roles within the operation.

The Pits TV covers multiple events over multiple sports with Speedway and Circuit Racing over the summer months and then rugby over the winter months.

We are wanting to build a team in the lower South Island to help us to cover these events. This is a flat rate paid position where your time and costs are reimbursed if you need to travel.

You do not need to be experienced as training will be given for whatever role you wish to take on. We have positions Replay Operator and some directing duties when required.

The Pits TV uses state of the art systems based around the latest Blackmagic equipment over 3 Outside Broadcast vehicles.

Please note: This is a part time as needed position but you can work more if you so desire.

A catch up with Ruapuna Speedways Media Manager and Announcer, Craig Broomhall who has the battle for his life ahead of him!

Recently I heard some news about Media Manager and Announcer for Ruapuna Speedway, Craig Broomhall and sent him a message to wish him all the luck with his battle that stands in front of him. As we were exchanging messages backwards and forwards, Craig asked that if I am ever short of content, he would be keen to have an interview about what he does for Ruapuna, how he has done it, about his illness and just a good ole catch up. As we have no scheduled interviews, I though it a fantastic opportunity to catch up with Craig. In his own words, you just never know, this could be his last interview ever!

The Pits TV is proud to have some awesome advertisers that continue to support us. Over the last few months, there hasn't been to much time to show a bit of appreciation to them so I wanted to start with Hessel's Poultry Farm in Foxton. The Dykstra Family approached us and we were stoked to have them as a part of our family.

During last season we were lucky to be shown around the farm and managed to grab a bit of video. Check out how you process 120,000+ eggs a day!
