A huge mihi to everyone who entered our latest meat pack giveaway, every single piece of advice shared was absolutely amazing 💛
We hope our rangatahi are able to take these whakaaro on board, learn from them, and carry them with them as they continue to grow. There was so much wisdom, encouragement, and positivity shared from our community, and it was awesome to see everyone uplifting our young people 🙌
And a big congratulations to Kasey Melville, our winner this round! 🎉
Our pātai was:
“What’s one piece of advice you’d give to rangatahi growing up today?”
Here’s what Kasey shared:
“Treat others how you would like to be treated. All you can do is try your best in everything you do, especially at school. If you don’t win/pass it doesn’t matter, as long as you tried 100% you and your whānau and friends should/will be proud of you. Stay true to yourself, don’t let others influence your decisions and/or change the way you present yourself to the world. Only your own opinion matters so make sure you like who you are/how you are acting. Negative outside opinions from acquaintances or so called friends don’t matter, so don’t let them put out your spark.”
Such a powerful and uplifting message 👏🏽
It’s a beautiful reminder for our rangatahi to back themselves, stay true to who they are, and always give their best no matter what. Words like these can really make a difference 💛
Ka pai, Kasey! Thank you for sharing your whakaaro with us 🙌
Ngā mihi nui to Creative Meats for making this giveaway possible 💛
And don’t forget the new meat pack giveaway pātai is already up 👀
So get your answers in now whānau, and you could be our next winner! 🥩✨
