MEAT PACK WINNER!!
A huge mihi to everyone who entered our meat pack giveaways and a big congratulations to Jordan Collins, our last winner! 🎉

Jordan answered our pātai:
“If you could create one kaupapa at Kōkiri Marae that would uplift whānau for the next 10 years, what would it be and how would it help?”

Here’s what she shared:
Kia ora Omata Fm Wainuiomata, I am from Wainui and whanau of Kokiri Marae, te kaupapa nui tino rawa atu mo te oranga o te whanau me Nga tangata katoa, Kokiri Marae Keriana Olsen Trust, Kokiri Marae Health & Social Services, Kokiri Marae Pataka Kai, Kokiri Marae Naenae Hub, Takiri Mai Te Ata. They have many services but if I had to pick it would be help with whanau, work alongside them when whanau are going through their loved one being missing, help with dealing with police, media, and other services, when this happens to a whanau it is a traumatic thing and when this happens to a whanau there are expert services (therapy) out there they need but have no idea how to obtain them, it can be unhealthy for the whanau taha wairua so if there was a service at Kokiri Marae that can tautoko, give expert advice around this that would be good, he kaupapa nui mo te iwi ki te whai ora I te ao.
