RELAUNCH ISSUE: NOW LIVE

We're delighted to be back and producing the Lyttelton Review. Our first edition covers everything from a historic restoration; the exciting new gallery on Norwich Quay; a new laundromat on London Street; and a myrid of other interesting topics for Lyttelton. Enjoy the read.

Remember too, the Review team is a small group of volunteers. Typos, incorrect spelling and grammatical errors are all part of the charm of producing a volunteer publication. We make no guarantee of perfection. And no apologies for spelling errors (or in this issue, mixing dates with days, but c'est la vie it's gone to print).

That said, if we really get it wrong, then contact us at [email protected]. Cheers

Lyttelton Review: Where we celebrate life in Lyttelton, New Zealand. We are a grass roots community publication, created by a dedicated team of volunteers. Enjoy this month's read. October 2023

Great news Lyttelton: your favourite local news and event publication, the Lyttelton Review will be returning in October.

Back at the helm, fuelled with enthusiasm, energy and determination is Lynnette Baird – the original creator of the Lyttelton Review. A HUGE thank you goes out to the Board of the Lyttelton Harbour Information Centre for expressing confidence in Lynnette to take back ownership of the Review; and to ensure its continued success.

At the moment, the team behind the scenes are actively working toward securing exciting new sponsors and more will be revealed when those connections are formalised. Bear with us, as we are still in the early stages of the re-launch. But we wanted you to hear it here first.

Moving forward a new team will be working hard to re-launch the Review. Re-connecting with local businesses, community groups, individuals and event organisers to create a central platform of all the good things going on within Lyttelton and the wider Harbour area.

If you have an event or story, you’d like to share for the October issue – PLEASE – send us an email at [email protected]. We’d love to hear from you. The Lyttelton Review is a grass roots, community-based publication, and will only succeed with the contributions and support from the wider community.
