Watching the Jaden Laing Toy World giveaway in Auckland was honestly soo embarrassing.
Not because people are struggling, but because of the mindset that was on full display.
(Correction) Let’s not forget Jaden’s own money went into giving back to the community, not just in Auckland, but in different parts of the world. That wasn’t sponsorship money. That wasn’t obligation. That was generosity.
People weren’t just taking a toy.
They were grabbing arm-fulls, pushing past kids, moving like it was a riot. What really blew my mind was how People KNEW that if they were to get the most expensive toy that other kids would miss out. And they didn’t care.
Then had the nerve to turn around and get angry at him for not putting limits on THEIR greed.
Let’s be very clear.
That was his money. His stock. His generosity. His initiative.
Nobody is entitled to what someone chooses to give.
And so what if he posts about what he gives? That’s how he earns his money. He could’ve spent that money on other things but he chose to giveback to the community.
This was never about toys.
It was about entitlement and a crab bucket mentality.
Broken mindsets turn blessings into chaos.
Then blame the person who tried to bless them.
Out of all the places Jaden Laing has blessed, ofcourse it’s auckland that has to complain and have a cry about it.
So pohara bro.
Next time jaden- pick a more grateful area to bless.
Update: Whether Jayden donated $1 or $5,000, the point still remains, he didn’t have to donate anything at all. The fact that he chose to give back speaks louder than any dollar figure. Gratitude costs nothing
