We are thrilled to have the dynamic powerhouse of K'Lee on board with us at NZRTS.

After rocking the airwaves for over a decade at Mai FM and more than 16 years as an On Air personality, we are thrilled to welcome the fabulous K'Lee to join us as the new radio wizard in the Diploma in Radio Broadcasting, Te Poutairanga Pāho o te Motu.

K'Lee brings a mix of skills to the table, from being a brand ambassador and content creator to spinning tunes and spreading laughter over her impressive 16-year radio journey in Aotearoa.

She's not just about the job; K'Lee also shares her adventures in mentoring young minds across New Zealand.

K'Lee says "Apart from Training On-Air staff for weekend and summer shifts, on various stations. My favourite experience was going into the local Kura to run workshops on Cultural Identity in Mainstream Media – empowering our Rangatahi to be proud and confident in their culture and who they are. The students sometimes as young as 10yrs had to be creative and come up with their own radio show, with name, breaks, promotions (Giveaways) and even had to utilize the devices they had around them to support their breaks with music and sound effects. The creativity that came out when giving away their packets of lollies was amazing and really inspiring.
I really enjoy seeing the spark in our Tauira when they realise their potential and can visualize their pathway."
