If you had the chance to study something, what would it be?

I’m embarking on a journey to reclaim my language.

A journey that’s well overdue and that I’ve been ashamed to begin because I never felt “Māori enough”

As I’ve gotten older, the pull to understand where I come from has gotten stronger.

I know I’ll benefit personally but I’m also sure it will also impact how I will run this business.

I’m looking forward to cracking into this and see how it guides how I do things in the future.

There are two things that immediately make me emotional when I hear them.
A type of emotion that feels like your heart has both stopped, and started to pump faster at the same time.
A Haka, and The Ode of Rememberance

I don’t know about you, but these two acts are so powerful to me that they pull sadness, appreciation and pride all at once from my belly and I can’t help but feel emotional when I witness them.
