Slitting Line Operator – Full-Time
Location: Linked Group, 1 Garland Street, Matamata
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM

About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Slitting Line Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating slitting line machinery to cut sheet metal or coils to specified widths, ensuring high-quality production and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Set up, operate, and monitor the slitting line machine.
Inspect materials to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Adjust machine settings to achieve precise cuts and minimize waste.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure smooth operation.
Follow health and safety guidelines at all times.
Work as part of a team to meet production targets and deadlines.
Assisting the team with any requirements
Requirements
Previous experience as a slitting line operator or in a similar metal processing role is preferred but not essential, training will be provided.
Strong attention to detail.
Adept and confident in computer use
Ability to read and interpret work orders.
Can-do attitude
Willingness to learn, upskill and grow
