We pivot easily between industries and issues, styles and technique, mediums and channels. ROLE FILLED - THANKS SO MUCH TO EVERYONE WHO APPLIED!! :)

UPDATED CASTING CALL – PHOTO SHOOT | HAWKE’S BAY | PAID!

We’re still on the lookout for a couple in their mid-50s to 60s to feature in a brand campaign we’re currently producing for a new local business based in Hawke's Bay.

Below are a few reference images that show the kind of look the client is after - if you think you fit the brief or know someone who might, we’d love to hear from you! 🎉

Applicants will need to be available for a one-day (full day) photo shoot in Hawke’s Bay on Saturday, 26th July, with a weather cover backup day on Sunday, 3rd August.
Exact times to be confirmed.

If selected payment is $750, less tax, per person. 🥳

Indelible Creative Studio is once again on the lookout for more talented locals to feature in a fun new brand video for a local Hawke’s Bay business

🎥Who we’re looking for...

**A fun-loving mum aged mid-30s to mid-40s, and her two children aged 4–6. This role includes some playful dancing on camera, so applicants should feel confident busting a few moves!
- Payment for these roles (if selected) is Mum - $450 / Kids $200 (each)

***A male aged mid-30s to mid-40s (ideally of Māori or Pacific Island descent). We’re looking for a sporty, “dad-type” guy
- Payment for this role (if selected) is $350.00

***Two men aged late 60s to early 70s
Friends would be great, but not essential - we’re after warm, natural personalities.
- Payment for this role (if selected) is $350.00 per person

No previous experience is necessary; you'll just need to be confident in front of the camera. We encourage people from all backgrounds to apply. These are non-speaking. :)

🎥Filming Details:

Selected talent will need to be available for approximately 3-4 hours on Saturday, 19th July, with a weather cover backup on Sunday, 20th July. Filming will take place in Napier (exact timings to be confirmed).

Who’s seen Adolescence on Netflix? That beautifully chaotic, hard-hitting show breaking all the cinematic norms with its one take wonders?

Well, fun fact - the whole thing was shot on the DJI Ronin 4D.

Now, we’re not saying we’re making the next global hit... but we are saying we’ve been fans of the Ronin 4D since before it was cool.

Dan loves the thing. Andy... not so much. Something about "ergonomics" and "back pain".

Luckily, Dan has a built-in ergonomic support system – otherwise known as a dad-tum, that makes operating it feel just right. Just rest it on the tummy and relax.

CASTING CALL – PHOTO SHOOT IN HAWKE’S BAY (PAID ROLES)

We’re currently on the lookout for three talented locals to feature in a dynamic new brand campaign for a new Hawke’s Bay business.

Who we’re looking for……….

** A couple aged between 55 to 65 years - You’ll be playing a retired couple who love the outdoors and exploring the region. Real couples are preferred, but not essential.

**A woman aged between 45 to 50 years - once again, we’re looking for a fun-loving person who enjoys the outdoors.

We encourage people from all backgrounds to apply. :)

If selected, you will need to be available for the one-day photo shoot that will take place in Hawke’s Bay in July. Exact dates and times to be confirmed.

Applicants should be confident in front of the camera and comfortable taking direction in a relaxed, professional environment. No experience required. Payment is $750 per person.

Meet Erin, our incredible colourist 👋

What does a typical day look like for you as a colourist?
Coffee, a dark windowless room on my own and a crime podcast or the Armchair Anonymous podcast.

What is your favourite part of the colour grading process?
Being able to see the final project grade and seeing how it has all come together.

Can you describe your style or approach to colour grading?
I like to race through quickly and do a first pass, just getting something on every shot. Then it's a process of watching it down and seeing what has worked and what hasn't, and smoothing it out from there.

What’s one project you’re especially proud of and why?
It's hard to pick, because I'm proud of everything I've worked on, but right now it would be TV2's Motherhood: Give Me Babies. Aside from it being beautifully shot, the look for the episode wasn't a "neutral" look; the creators went for a super-stylised look, which meant we could push the show in a direction with saturation and contrast and make it visually beautiful.

Favourite project with Indelible?
There have been so many projects over the years of working with Indelible, I don't think I could pick just one, but the Sport Hawkes Bay projects definitely spring to mind.

How do you collaborate with directors or DOPs to achieve a final look?
You will often have some time with the DOP before they begin principal photography to look over test footage and create a LUT, get an idea of what they are thinking for the look of the show. Once the show has been edited together, you usually work closely with the DOP to finesse the look.

What’s a common misconception people have about colourists?
Not so much a colourist misconception, but working in the industry in general, a lot of people assume you get to meet the celebrities involved in the project. In most cases, this is very far from the truth. As a colourist, in my experience, I get to meet and work with the DoP and sometimes the Director and Producers.

How you start your story is important right? Ours started a decade or two ago but you’re not here for a history lesson. We’ll jump straight to today – a misfit team of experienced creatives that love innovating and telling stories in new ways. Made up of a few Kiwis, an American, some Hawke’s Bay OGs and imports, we’ve carefully collected a crew of exceptionally nice people who are all experts in their disciplines. We work together to create video and photography that’s extremely powerful and effective. We love to collaborate and are genuinely inspired by the people we’re privileged to meet and work with.
