Couple of weekend scores..

First we have a very rare factory 1982 Honda CX500 turbo.
Worlds first mass produced turbo motorcycle;
and Honda's first fuel injected motorcycle, only in production for one year before being superseded for the CX650 turbo.

Unfortunately... this particular bike had been sitting in a moist location for 25 years!! Showing only 5800km on the clock. You can guarantee she was a minter before heading into storage.

Next, we have good little project and bike I had been hunting for for a few years. Unsure on year but 73-76 RD350 which will sit nicely with my 400 most havent seen yet 😁

I got yarning to an older gentleman at the Reefton pub last night. Chatting about bikes.
He then mentions he raced the Isle of Man back in 1965... wow I thought what an interesting old fella.
We talked for about 30min till he suggested I go eat my dinner before it goes cold.
After I asked the bartender who that was as I didnt catch his name.
Hugh Anderson she said!
2x Isle of Man winner
4x world champion
I was just having a yarning with a fellow enthusiast and didn't even know I was in the presence of greatness!

Hugh Robertson Anderson MBE (born 18 January 1936) is a four-time Grand Prix motorcycle road racing World Champion and a 19-time New Zealand national champion. He is also a two-time Isle of Man TT winner.[1][2] In 2022, the F.I.M. inducted Anderson into the MotoGP Hall of Fame.[3]

Saved from the Collingwood seaside.
It Had been sitting for 2yr's.
In typical honda fashion all it needed was fresh gas and 20 kicks later.
Definitely deserve's a birthday.
