Today is my birthday, and I couldn't think of a better day to share something I've been working towards for a long time.

This year marks 30 years of making original music, and I'm incredibly proud to announce my brand-new 16-track double album, ReGenerate, which will be released on September 19 2026, along with a nationwide New Zealand tour.

Thirty years ago, I took a leap of faith and bought my first sampler, an Ensoniq ASR-10. I had no idea that one decision would take me on a journey spanning three decades, countless shows, amazing collaborations, and friendships that have changed my life. I'm deeply grateful to still be creating and sharing music with you all.

This October, November and early December I'll be touring Aotearoa with two of my closest friends, Tim Budgen (WarpTV) and Anton Carter (Mc Antsman), celebrating 30 years of bass, beats, visuals and memories.

I'm also excited to announce that the first single from the album, "Embrace the New Day" featuring Rayjah45, will be released this Monday, July 20.

ReGenerate will be available on limited edition double vinyl, CD and cassette, with only a small selection of tracks released on streaming platforms. I wanted this release to be something special that people could truly own and experience.
This album is a celebration of the past, the present, and everything still to come.

To everyone who has supported me over the past 30 years, whether you've come to a show, bought a record, shared my music, collaborated with me, or simply listened, thank you. Your support, friendship and aroha have made this journey possible, and I'm genuinely excited to share this next chapter with you.

This winter, the top of the South is set to heat up as The Midwinter Showdown lands at The Boathouse, Nelsonon Saturday, July 4th, delivering a powerful night of reggae, hip hop, and electronic bass culture right on the water’s edge.

Headlining the event is Aotearoa hip hop legend King Kapisi, bringing his unmistakable presence and legacy to the stage. In a rare and highly anticipated return, it has been over 10 years since King Kapisi last performed in Nelson, making this a must-see moment for fans across the region.

Adding even more excitement to the night, King Kapisi and The Nomad will be testing brand new, unreleased material on the crowd, giving attendees a first taste of fresh sounds straight from the lab.
