WHATS COMING UP

27 May – Oz Risner is going to show us how to make a little crocheted purse. If you would like to make one you will need to bring:

 A small zip 10-15 cms (Oz will have some spares)
 2.5 and 3 mm crochet hooks (it’s easier to use the smaller one for the first
round but if you only have one size that is OK).
 A sharp sewing needle with a big enough eye for the yarn being used.
 Two or more contrasting colours of yarn. Oz uses super fine cotton. Fine yarn
works better than thicker for this small project.
 Scissors.

It's nearly Tuesday, yippee!
So, what's happening in March?

11th March: knit and natter (Joan's sister's Chinese embroidery). Nelson Golf Club Cafe, 38 Bolt Road at 9.30am

25th March: trip to Mapua - visiting Katie Gold's workshop and studio in Upper Moutere, lunch at Toad Hall in Motueka, and visiting Jane Clark's Jointworks.

Katie is going to show us her screen printing process and there will be an opportunity to look through her gallery. We are booked in at Katies at 10 am.
Travel arrangements and times will be advised nearer the time.
