Nelson Creative Fibre Group

Nelson Creative Fibre Group Open to anyone interested in creative fibre arts including knitting crochet
spinning weaving felting dyeing and using exotic fibres.

Meetings are held on every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month* in the Nelson Golf Club Cafe which is at 38 Bolt Road, Tahunanui, Nelson.
$2 donation each meeting for members of other groups, $4 for visitors. You can purchase refreshments at the cafe. We would love some new members, so please feel free to come along and meet us.

*Please check our events entries first in case we're busy with events o

r workshops. Full membership costs $30 per year which entitles you to our local newsletter as well as an Area newsletter. Affiliation with the national Creative Fibre Group www.creativefibre.org.nz is an additional $30 which is paid direct to them. This entitles you to the national Creative Fibre Magazine and discounts on various workshops in the area.

Meeting 25 November - Nelson Golf Club Cafe
Mary-Lyn Wastney, an ex member of our Group, is coming along to show us how
to tie Christmas bows. Bring along any ribbon you may have (apparently the
wired ribbon is best), and a pair of scissors. If you have any pipe cleaners you
could bring them along too.
