Sad day for the Mathews Family and this iconic station, however, awesome that the business and jobs have been saved.
Settlers Honey based on Makowhai Station in Waitotara Taranaki, one of the largest private land holdings in Aotearoa (8900 hectares) are now out of receivership. The company have signed an agreement to sell their land to pay $3million debt to BNZ in full.
