💛 Empowering Tamariki at Hāwera Primary School

Today I had the privilege of visiting Hāwera Primary School to deliver Lesson 9 of our Empowering Tamariki Bully Awareness & Prevention Programme.

Over the past eight weeks, the incredible kaiako and tamariki here have been exploring kindness, confidence, emotional regulation, and what it truly means to stand up for others. 💪

It’s inspiring to hear how much they’ve grown, learning that real strength isn’t just physical, it’s shown in how we treat others and how we manage our emotions when things get tough.

A huge mihi to the staff for embracing this kaupapa and leading the way in building a safer, more connected school environment. 🌿

Every lesson like this takes us one step closer to raising confident, empathetic tamariki across Aotearoa.

This is a heartbreaking reminder of the silent battles many of our tamariki face. Behind the smiles, some are carrying pain we may never see.

To our tamariki…. you matter. Your voice matters. You are never alone.

Let’s stand together. Speak up. Show kindness. And be the village our tamariki need.

🎉 We’ve officially delivered our first Standing Strong workshop: Combating Bullying & Harassment in the Workplace💪

It was a powerful day of connection and learning, with an amazing group of participants at the Western Institute of Technology at Taranaki (WITT).

This interactive session was designed to equip participants with the knowledge and confidence to build safer, more respectful workplaces where everyone feels heard, valued, and protected.

Workshop Objectives Included:
✅ Understanding what constitutes bullying and harassment, both internally and externally
✅ Recognising early warning signs and risk factors
✅ Learning how to respond to and report bullying and harassment
✅ Gaining techniques for setting personal boundaries
✅ Exploring practical tools for managing difficult situations.

A huge thank you to WITT for bringing this important kaupapa to your organisation and creating space for these vital conversations.
