Taranaki's local independent and alternative radio station. Yes, you can help!

The MOST means more new music

https://linktr.ee/MostFM Taranaki's real community, alternative radio station playing a great mix of Kiwi and International Sounds. Operating since 1993, The Most is now part of the Taranaki landscape, a welcome relief to the blandness and repetition of commercial radio. We are a station with real soul and attitude that reflects Taranaki's diverse community and activ

ities. In fact, we celebrate this! Real live announcers, in fact nearly 40 of them every week, with interviews & guests from bands, the arts, business and the community. The Most is operated by the Taranaki FM Trust, a registered charitable trust, relying on the time and effort of many volunteers and helpers. Our aim is to provide a community-based alternative to drab mainstream radio. Focussing on a progressive mix of local, New Zealand and International music to our listeners in Taranaki and far beyond. We keep advertising to a minimum, averaging about 3 minutes per hour. We need to meet our operational costs e.g. staff, broadcasting fees, etc. from advertising and sponsorship revenues, but rely on grants and donations for equipment upgrades and expansion. Get the word out there that we are on-air at 100.4 FM all across Taranaki, and at 107.4 FM in Oakura. And we are live 24/7 on the web streaming at www.mostfm.com

Wednesday is Pot of Gold day. And what a golden day it is! โ˜€๏ธThis week's guest with the gold is Emma Rourke.
'Iโ€™m originally from Scotland and moved to New Zealand nearly five years ago. The house I grew up in was basically a full-time music venue โ€” my mum and dad always had tunes on, and my two brothers are both professional musicians.
That fun, lively atmosphere definitely sparked my lifelong love of music. Although Iโ€™m now on the other side of the world, music still keeps me grounded and is one of my favourite ways to connect with people.
Iโ€™ve got a soft spot for funk, soul, dance, indie, and rock, but Iโ€™m open to all sorts of genres and love discovering new sounds.
I truly believe thereโ€™s a song for every moment in life โ€” from breakups to burning your dinner, chill Sundays with a book to spontaneous kitchen dance-offs.
Having lived in and around Glasgow for most of my life, I was lucky to catch some incredible gigs โ€” a few of which Iโ€™ll be chatting about during my Pot of Gold session.'
The Guest The Gold The Good Times. My Little Pot Of Gold with Ross Howarth - Wednesday evenings 6.00pm - 8.00pm on The MOST FM 100.4 and 107.4 and streaming to Glasgow and beyond at www.mostfm.com. Eternal thanks to the golden sponsor Neale Parkinson at Bayleys Taranaki. And....don't forget to get in touch for your turn๐ŸŽธ๐Ÿฅ

Inspired by the sudden disappearance of the Epstein files, which were on Pam Bondiโ€™s desk back in February but now not only donโ€™t exist but were written by Obama, we present a show on things that vanish, disappear, are lost or donโ€™t really exist, or if they do, weโ€™ll deny it.
