LIVE TONIGHT at 8pm – Speedway Gladiators brings you a massive teams-racing-loaded show.

We spotlight Superstock Teams racing from last weekend and Stockcar Teams racing from last season, all as we build toward this weekend’s event featuring six Stockcar teams in the Stockcar Teams Invasion.

We open with highlights from last weekend’s Superstock Teams Extravaganza, showcasing the biggest hits, blocks and standout moments from a huge night at the Robertson Prestige International Speedway.

With Christmas just around the corner, we chat to Nardine Hall from the Souvenir Hut for some great festive gift ideas for the speedway fans in your life.

Then we look ahead to this weekend’s Stockcar Teams Invasion, featuring the Palmerston North Pumas, Gisborne Gladiators Stockcar Team, Wanganui Vulcans Stockcar Team, Palmerston North Colts , Wellington Young Guns Stockcar Team, and the Central Metals Waikato Raiders.

We sit down with Pumas Manager Stu Russell to talk through this year’s team selection, the mix of experience and rookies, and what they are targeting for Saturday night.

Tonight we look back at last weekend’s 25th Anniversary Robin Pratt Stockcar Memorial, where all eyes were on the Rees family after Trish Pratt, Robin’s wife, mentioned she was hoping for a Rees victory.

We also turn our attention to this weekend’s racing, featuring:

• Manawatu Saloon Championship
• Sidecar Best Pairs

Unfortunately, due to circumstances outside our control, we weren't able to secure a sidecar team this week — but we did catch up with Ella Hislop, daughter of long-time sidecar competitor Tony Hislop. Ella has now aged out of Youth Ministocks and stepped up into the Saloons, and we chat to her about that transition.

We also look back at last season’s Manawatu Saloon Championship and check in on Week 4 of the Travel Managers Season Points.
