A huge thank you to everyone who collaborated in Te Hui Ahurea Kanorau – The Cultural Diversity Festival, which yesterday celebrated its second year! 🎉 This cultural celebration is part of our Multicultural Educational Campaign, whose mission is to educate our communities to fight against inequality in schools, lead anti-racism campaigns, and provide educational workshops for former refugees.
Our festival is the celebration that connects all these initiatives, bringing together our ethnic communities, while at the same time honoring and acknowledging Māori as mana whenua and tangata whenua.
We live in a bicultural platform, but we are a multicultural society. 🌏
Here I’m sharing the first video kindly sent us. We’ll keep posting more photos and, in the coming weeks, our final video production will also be released. 🙂 Gracias a Cheryll Brondial Wagener for being the best Co-Producer amiga mía 🙂
