Sorry to all the wonderful people I did not mention in this post (it was off the cuff not scripted). Thank you to all the regular contributors, and past editors/volunteers, and a special note the the Geritsens who gave it the kick start again in the 1970s, lets hope someone else will do this in the future too, but for now I hope you will continue to follow the BT page, and keep the BT alive in the community.

Just a reminder that this edition "Show us your..." theme is Cover Photo.
Profile works best... any subject- view, pets etc... one photo will be chosen for the cover.
And don't forget to send your photos and submissions in to [email protected]

Punga Cove through the Punga trees. Would you like to see your photo on the next cover?
Our Spring editing 'show us your'...theme is Cover! Any photo you think would make a great cover photo, any subject, any view, any pet - you choose (please aquire permission for photos of people & properties that are not your own).
A few pointers:
- Profile view works best. Landscape view once cropped to fit may loose too much Subject matter.
- Lighting - dark photos tend to appear darker when printed.
- Quality. High resolution photos emailed to us rather than sent through messenger to retain quality when enlarged.

Don't forget to 'show us your' VIEW. All view theme photos are considered for the cover, you never know, yours may be next!

Thank you to everyone who has paid their subs for 2024 and for supporting your local not-for-profit community magazine. Invoices for 2024 were sent out in the Summer 2023/2024 edition, sellotaped inside the cover for local or in the envelope for postal copies. If you have misplaced your invoice please email [email protected] and we can sort it for you.
The BT is currently being worked on and will be printed mid March. The print numbers will be advised to our printer in the first week of March.
As usual I get a few extra copies printed to share with other community groups or those interested in receiving an extra copy, or subscribing..... however, in the past I have sometimes printed extra copies for the unpaid subs and posted the magazine with another courtesy invoice reminder.... this has created some confusion with people believing they have received the magazine and therefore are paid up for the next year, which is not the case.
This year I will not be doing that.
So this is a friendly reminder: if your BT sub remains unpaid after the 8th of March there may not be an extra copy of the Autumn edition available for you to receive, but you can still contact us after the 8th and sign up for the remaining 3 issues of 2024.
Thank you to all our subscribers and followers, we have some interesting articles lined up for this year, including great photos for our themes, send in your photos, you never know you may get chosen for the cover.
