It's time for a little update on where I am at and what I've been up to lately. ☀️

Since moving from the South Island of New Zealand to the far north of the North Island, I've kept myself busy in so many different ways. My health, both physically and mentally has never felt as good as it has lately and the transition couldn't have been smoother. 😌

I'm currently working as a member of the incredible Concierge team with a secondary role of Staff Accommodation Warden at the beautiful 𝗧𝗲 𝗔𝗿𝗮𝗶 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗸𝘀 𝗚𝗼𝗹𝗳 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘁. We strive to deliver the best experience to everyone who visits and with 3 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘭𝘥𝘴 𝘛𝘰𝘱 100 𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘴𝘦𝘴, the courses speak for themselves! ⛳️

While here, I've picked up the sport of golf a bit, bought a car, found a BMX, experienced my first cyclone, and have been exploring whenever possible. 📸 All this while staying consistent and motivated with running. 🏃

𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 is shaping up to be quite the year! Looking forward to all the experiences to come. 🚲😁 |

Wings for Life World Run - 2026 🇳🇿

This year marks my third appearance at the annual event and all expectations were exceeded once again! If you don't already know, The Wings for Life World Run () is a global charity event created by Red Bull to raise money and awareness for spinal cord research with the idea of "Running for those who can't".

No finish line. No set distance. One global start time for all those involved. Instead of the usual, a "catcher car" begins chasing participants down after a 30 minute head start and your race ends when the car catches you.

Last year, I was just short of hitting the 25km mark before getting caught and came in this year with the expectation of surpassing it and did I ever... 39.32km! 🤯

Every year, I dedicate my run to a friend who has been effected from a spinal cord injury. This year's event also fell on Mother's Day here in New Zealand which was extra motivation. While my mothers paralysis was caused by strokes back on Christmas Day, 2019 and not necessarily a spinal cord injury. It was a fueling factor in pushing me to not give up even when my quads were telling me to stop.

A huge thank you goes out to everyone who has supported me and this amazing event. Special shout out to .athletics, , and for the gear and for setting up this amazing event here in Auckland! 🔥

Hope to see even more people out doing it for the cause next year!

Very excited to be partnering up with .athletics out of Australia this year and couldn't be more stoked about their new Hybrid Pro Running Vest in limited edition Forest Green! 🌲✨

As usual, I don't promote something I don't support and this is no exception. I've used this vest already for multiple runs, including a recent half marathon around my local stomping grounds here in New Zealand. 🇳🇿

Exceptionally lightweight at only 235g and versatile with 12 pockets to pack everything I need on a long distant run, quick hike up a mountain or a session at the pumptrack. I can't imagine using any other vest here on out!

They are currently giving away 10 running vests right now, so don't sleep on this, get over to their profile and shoot your shot! 🏃 |

After 3 short months at - Our path separates and the next chapter of New Zealand begins. 🌊

It was special in it's own to be apart of such a small team within this remote part of NZ and will surely miss the serenity the Marlborough Sounds brought. Being able to connect on a personal level with all of our guests made this experience truly one of a kind!

Thankful to those who made this transition what it is and surely do hope our paths cross again one day sooner than later. 🙏🏼

Enjoy some photos from around the resort aka my first home in NZ that I will surely cherish forever. 🇳🇿 |

Hard to believe it's been 3 months since I left Canada after a short but very sweet visit to see my family and friends.

Of course, it's those very people I miss the most while travelling but the beautiful nature of Canada never ceases to amaze with every returning visit. 🌲

This train wreck outside Whistler has been on my list for over a decade and so glad that I got to visit it while catching up with my dude !

Here's a few other photos from that mini Whistler trip, including a couple goodies from atop The Chief in Squamish. 🇨🇦 |

As we wrap up another year, let's take a moment to let it all sink in... ☀️

Having said that, it's never too early to start planning those bucket list vacations.

Arguably no better way to see the beautiful Marlborough Sounds than to soar above with and let the incredible landscape below captivate your soul. Take the next step and land smack dab in the middle of Miritu Bay for a serene nights stay with nestled into the forest and only a few kilometers off the world famous Queen Charlotte Track! 🇳🇿

Oceania is a serious treat for wildlife viewing and here's a little bit of what you could expect here in The Bay of Many Coves.

Happy New Year everyone! Let's make 2026 even more exciting! 🥂 | aotearoa newzealandnature newzealandphotography nzphotography purenewzealand explorenz nznature travelnz discovernz nzlife nzgram newzealandtravel

For the past 5 years, the only luggage I've been using has been and for good reason. 🌟

Made from the highest quality materials and hand crafted in the USA, this luxury item is everything and more for your travel needs.

Having a personalized piece of luggage that I've been able to fully customize and suit my style adds that extra bit of flare to any trip. Excited to see where I may continue to roam in 2026! 🧳 |

It's been just over a month since I ran my first marathon and while I've been dealing with nagging knee issues, there is one thing that's made all the difference. 💫

Let me introduce you to @𝙜𝙚𝙩𝙛𝙡𝙮𝙩𝙚𝙭.𝙘𝙤 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙨𝙡𝙚𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙨 - I had seen these ads popping up on Instagram from time to time as I was researching different options for joint support but like most people, I was very hesitant to throw money at something I was unsure about. 🤔

Well, I gave in... And I was so happy from Day 1 of training with them all the way up to the marathon itself that I ended up picking up their 𝙣𝙚𝙬𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙑𝟐.

If you're like me and have suffered injuries over the years from sports wear & tear such as your MCL and/or meniscus, these leg sleeves create positive blood circulation and targeted compression that alleviates pain and allows you to train and recover better than ever!

Here's some wonderful memories I'm blessed to have from the marathon and it's safe to say, you'll probably never see me run without these sleeves again!🏃‍♂️💨 |

With every new country, comes new wildlife that's exciting to capture on camera. 📸🍃

While I'm definitely not typically a wildlife photographer, I've always loved capturing animals in their natural habitat. Here's a few of the different species I've captured since coming ashore last month!

I didn't think I'd need a longer lens until I did my first African safari but now it seems it may be on the radar sooner than later! Any suggestions are certainly welcome. 🙏🏼 |
