Flip side: a different perspective
Our kids spend weeks sometimes months preparing for Polyfest. Long days. Late nights. Practising with passion, pride, and purpose.
All our parents, hustle to fundraise for uniforms, tutors, transport, lunches, then also pay at the door just to watch their kids perform their hearts out. Parents don’t complain, because they love kids and love culture.
Polyfest boosts confidence, identity, self-esteem and more. We are all here for that.
But after the Polyfest hype... then what?
Where are the spaces teaching our kids how to:
* Save money?
* Start a business?
* Lead in the real world after school?
* Turn their natural God-given gifts into purpose-driven futures?
Dancing is beautiful - it’s a gift. But not every kid becomes a dancer afterwards.
What about those who are gifted in ideas, innovation, leadership, or entrepreneurship?
Other cultures are investing in their kids to lead industries. To own. To build.
We must ask: are we preparing ours to WIN beyond the stage?
It’s time for more.
Time for a shift.
After the stage… then what?
Because by the time our kids get to the other side of this "hype,"
💭 Other cultures are preparing their kids to lead industries.
💭 Their kids are starting businesses.
💭 They’re learning wealth, systems, strategy.
And many of our Pacific kids?
They’re stuck in red zone stats.
Left trying to figure out life after the music stops.
